Have you tried making them with minced meat? chicken; Lighter for sure, but these are always delicious and mouth-watering meatballs they will drive you crazy.

Ingredients (for about 20 pieces)

300 gr. minced chicken
50 gr. fresh breadcrumbs
20 gr. Parmesan, grated (or other yellow cheese of your choice, preferably hard)
2 tablespoons parsley, very finely chopped
salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of butter

Implementation:

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except the oil and butter and season with salt and pepper. Knead with your hands to make them homogenous.
With wet hands, so that the dough does not stick, or with gloves, make your meatballs. Place them on a plate, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up your dough.

Heat the oil and butter in a large non-stick pan and fry the meatballs over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, turning them occasionally, until golden brown.

You can dust them with flour before frying or if you don’t care about calories you can bread them with egg and breadcrumbs to make them even more delicious.
Served with mash, fries or vegetables depending on your taste buds.
