The testimony of the brother of the 19-year-old who was killed in an amusement park in Pefkohori, Halkidiki, is shocking.

Speaking to SKAI’s correspondent Christos Hatzimisi, he described the first minutes of the tragedy, as he was with the unfortunate 19-year-old in the spinning game.

“I felt the seat come off, I tell my brother that too and at one point I feel the whole back come off and after some fractions of a second, I see that I’m on my back, my brother is not next to me and I’m unconsciously holding on to the iron . While he was turning, it broke and my brother left the seat,” he said.

“As soon as the seat broke, we shouted. We were stopped by other people who were there for fun,” he added.

According to the mayor Kassandras, the amusement park was in a private area and this year it had not made a notification, i.e. the procedure followed for the renewal of the license.

Eyewitness

A shocked eyewitness also spoke to SKAI’s correspondent about the tragedy he saw unfold before his eyes. He himself, as he said, was with his children at the amusement park and was waiting for his turn to get on the fatal game. “We heard a loud noise and saw the child flying backwards,” he says distraught, adding that they immediately ran to help.
