Two people were arrested for drug trafficking in Mykonos
Two Greeks, aged 34 and 37, were arrested yesterday in Mykonos, by police officers of the Mykonos Police Sub-Division, against whom a criminal case was filed for possession-trafficking of narcotic substances and violation of the legislation on nutritional supplements and the fight against doping.
In particular, according to ELAS, on Thursday morning after a check on the accused and a search that followed at their residence, with the assistance of the specially trained police drug detection dog “KAGIA”, the following were found in their possession and confiscated:
• 222 medicinal-narcotic tablets
• 18 ampoules of liquid medicinal solution
• 7 small packages of cocaine, total weight 4 grams
• 4 small packages of methamphetamine with a total weight of 3.5 grams
• 2 small packages of cannabis, total weight 2.4 grams
• 3 narcotic tablets Ecstasy
• 5 ampoules with whitish powder
• 10 syringes
• 16,560 euros and 2,600 US dollars.
• Two mobile phones
• Lots of empty plastic packaging
• Coded handwritten notes with amounts of money, quantities and types of drugs
As it was ascertained, since the deconstruction of their criminal activity, the defendants used the residence as a hiding place and distribution of various types of drugs to interested users, who moved there for their supply.
Those arrested will be taken to the Syros First Instance Prosecutor’s Office.
