The father seeking answers for his son’s death has made serious allegations against the owner of the fatal amusement park, regarding his dealings with the Municipality of Kassandra.
He claimed that the toy in question was decommissioned, destined for scrap metal and crudely repaired “to operate at the risk of the lives of the occupants. It’s surprising how this game received certifications of suitability until last year.”
“This machine is a self-made one in Thessaloniki, which was bought by a corresponding businessman in Katerini, who had decommissioned it since 2010. This particular businessman bought it as scrap in 2020, with the logic of taking it to Bulgaria to repair it. So, from 2020, the machine receives certifications from large companies for its reliability”, complains the father, who for the second time within 24 hours points his arrows at the Kassandra municipal authority for direct assignments received by the owner of the amusement park.
“I have in my hands, now officially with public documents, the municipality’s relationship with this businessman, with direct assignments without signature and without going through a municipal council. There is a relationship between the municipality and a specific entrepreneur for at least the last 4 years, with direct assignments and payment orders.
