Three women used by the spiral in its scheme granted protection – Two men arrested and another wanted
The Anti-Organized Crime and Human Trafficking Sub-Directorate of Attica Security, in collaboration with police officers on the island, proceeded to dismantle a spiral in Mykonos, which promoted women into prostitution.
According to ELAS, during a special operation, which took place last Tuesday night, two men aged 31 and 32 were arrested, while a 41-year-old man is being sought. At the same time, three women, victims of the criminal organization, were located and rescued.
The defendants arranged the appointments through an “office”, which operated on a website on the Internet, where there were relevant advertisements with the details of the extradited women, the telephone number of the “office”, as well as the monetary consideration for the sexual services.
As for the monetary remuneration, it was determined according to the duration of the appointment, which could take place in the space of the spiral, in the clients’ homes or in hotels chosen by the latter.
From the searches carried out, they were located and confiscated, among others: The amount of money of 3,015 euros and 70 British pounds, quantities of cannabis, cocaine and pink cocaine, 4 mobile phones, a tablet and a laptop computer and a car.
The three women were provided with assistance and protection, with the assistance of the specialized MKO in matters of human trafficking “OUR GREECE”.
Finally, the two arrested, with the case filed against them for, as the case may be, criminal organization, human trafficking and violation of drug legislation, were brought to the competent prosecution authority.
