The cooperation between Cyprus and Greece was mentioned by the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, in his television interview with SKAI, saying that “it is the first time that two states in Europe are going to cooperate, so that Cypriot identities are recognized and identified in Greece and the equivalent in Cyprus – and documents of the Greek State can be identified in Cyprus and vice versa”.

The minister also announced the new service in the Gov wallet for “the change of electricity provider that will be done digitally, electronically, in an easy way”, he pointed out that in our digital wallet “properties also enter, we will have the file of our property and be able to to get the information we need”, while “a new version of the Gov wallet will be released within the year regarding our car insurance premiums”.

Referring to the Land Registry, he spoke of huge steps that have been taken, announcing the presentation together with the Deputy Minister, Konstantinos Kyranakis, of the new digital tool with artificial intelligence “which will help the people who do the legal audit”.

Finally, he spoke about the new European directive, NIS-2 regarding the achievement of a high level of cyber security, which has been incorporated into Greek legislation since October.
