A thousand free ice creams will be distributed in a park in São Paulo this heat

A thousand ice cream cones. In the heat of São Paulo, with temperatures that easily exceed 30°C, anyone who goes to Burle Marx Park this Saturday (5) will be able to cool off with free ice cream.

The Burger King restaurant chain will distribute 1,000 cones free of charge to anyone who goes to the green area, which is in the south of São Paulo, starting at 11 am.

The ice creams will have a dulce de leche flavor and will be decorated with little eyes and mouths that make the dessert look like that famous poop emoji — not very suggestive, but fun — that circulates on social media.

The network claims that the cone does not take any ingredient of artificial origin and that it is exclusively part of this campaign, not being sold in the cafeteria units.

Burle Marx Park has 138 thousand square meters and is home to about 90 species of animals, mainly birds. The site was designed in the 1950s to be the gardens of businessman Francisco “Baby” Pignatari’s mansion in honor of his girlfriend, Austrian Ira von Fürstenberg.

The land, part of the so-called Chácara Tangará, comprised more than 480 thousand square meters on the banks of the Pinheiros River. The project was designed by landscaper Roberto Burle Marx.
