According to information, in the context of the investigation launched by the Prosecutor’s Office for the musician, it seems that data have been collected for at least ten cases of sexual abuse of minors, at the time of the acts, of girls after complaints of victims.
The prosecutor’s investigation started after five women filed a lawsuit against the musician for sexual abuse that they had suffered while they were minors and even under 12 years old. As part of the investigation, according to information, testimonies of five other women were added, with some of them referring to the period 2018-2019 as the time of the reported acts, that is, a period when the musician was already charged with a felony for her case. 6-year-old minor.
It is noted that the musician has been sentenced by the Mixed Jury Court to 12 years in prison for performing sexual acts against the girl, in the period 2011 to 2013, ie when the child was 6 to 8 years old. The court suspended the execution of the sentence, releasing the musician on restrictive terms. The second instance trial in the case is scheduled for April 11 at the MOE.
Some of the new allegations being investigated by the Prosecution’s investigation appear to have been made by women who voluntarily came to testify against the musician, while others emerged from the five-month-old’s narratives.
According to the ombudsman for women, Panagiotis Papaioannou, the information provided by the complainants to the prosecutor’s office shows that the musician, although already accountable to the 6-year-old, “was still fearless of a lifestyle directly related to the sexual abuse of underage girls, wherever he was and whenever he could. “It is striking that some women unknown to the plaintiffs voluntarily attended the preliminary examination, while even more are moving on with new lawsuits against him for other episodes of ongoing sexual abuse, some of which include violence.”
