At his expense, police officers of the Thermi Traffic Department filed a case file for negligent bodily harm, serial driving, dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to the latest information, the 37-year-old man and his 34-year-old wife (5 months pregnant) are hospitalized in a critical condition in the ICU of Papageorgiou Hospital, while the baby is hospitalized, out of danger, in the Pediatric Surgery Clinic of the same hospital.
As it became known from the Police, the couple (citizens) and the child are permanent residents of Belgium and were in Thessaloniki, probably on vacation.
The family was in the area at the time of the accident to rent a car.
According to sources from the Papageorgiou hospital, where they were taken, the condition of the 37-year-old is considered more serious.

The triple abduction happened around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
