Alert for fire in its refineries Motor Oil in Agioi Theodorou marked the afternoon of Tuesday at Fire department.

Nine fire engines and 30 firefighters rushed to the scene, while a 112 message about the smoke was sent to the residents.

Three workers were picked up by ambulances and taken to hospital. The two with minor burns and one who was pushed back by the shock wave after the explosion at the site.
Stoppage of traffic on the old Athens-Corinthian highway
Traffic on the old Athens-Corinth highway due to the fire that broke out at the Motor Oil facilities in Agioi Theodorou was stopped earlier by the Police.
In particular, vehicle traffic was stopped from the height of the Aghii Theodori junction to the height of the Kalamaki tolls in both traffic streams.

Today, September 17, a serious fire broke out in the area of the refining units of the southern refinery of the Motor Oil refineries in Agioi Theodorou due to unknown causes. The situation is in recession.
As a result of the fire, 3 employees of a cooperating contractor company have been slightly injured in the upper limbs, who were taken to the Corinth Hospital and are receiving all the necessary care.
Since the beginning of the incident, we have been in good and continuous cooperation with the authorities. We thank the Fire Department and its people, but also our people at the refinery for their cooperation from the very beginning.
