The ‘pivotal role’ of the 57-year-old medical visitor, the cost of the ring’s pathologist’s prescriptions and drug rings

Each member of the ring seems to have had their own role, with the key being that of a 57-year-old medical visitor who acted as an intermediary in the two criminal organizations defrauding him EOPYY.
He was working in a certain pharmaceutical company since 2016.
She, as well as two other pharmacists, seem to have “stepped” on both criminal organizations at the time when four doctors, involved in the ring, were very frequently prescribing preparations of the pharmaceutical company where the 57-year-old worked.
Indicatively, the police investigation revealed that the expenditure of EOPYY with regard to this particular company, only from the prescriptions of the 51-year-old pathologist, who is also alleged to be a “professor” of a criminal organization, amounts to 1,250 thousand euros.
In fact, this amount constitutes only 40% of the total money for illegal prescriptions by doctors.
Promotion in a drug ring
However, the criminal activity of the defendants does not seem to stop at the above, since as it appears from the investigation of the economic police authorities, there was an extensive prescription of epilepsy drugs.
The preparations were received by the 57-year-old pathologist’s assistant, also known as “Michel the Moroccan”, as well as other foreigners who trafficked them in the markets and drug circuits, receiving a specific commission per box (20 to 30%) that will be sold, since the said substances seem to cause a tax on users in combination with other opiates.
Controls
It is worth noting that both the 51-year-old pathologist and the 50-year-old gynecologist have been checked by the EOPPY in the past, with one of them being checked twice for prescribing drugs that are not related either to their specialty or to the condition they were describing .
