After the implementation of the legislative measure of the transfer of judicial matter to lawyers
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Justice after the implementation of the legislative measure of the transfer of court cases to lawyers, approximately 10,000 cases have been transferred from judges to lawyers for resolution.
In particular, the transfer of cases concerns the establishment of Associations, registrations and deletions of pre-notifications, as well as the issuance of inheritance certificates, while at the same time approximately 125,000 affidavits have been issued by the lawyers.
With the legislative interventions of the Ministry of Justice, “it is sought to relieve the courts of procedures that can be conveniently carried out by lawyers through the transfer of material from the courts with the aim of the immediate and effective completion of legal actions and, by extension, the acceleration of delivery of Justice”.
Also, as the announcement states: “In this way, material is transferred to the lawyers, which until recently was the sole concern of the courts, but without litigation. This means relief from the workload of the judges, substantial strengthening of the Bar Association and speedy service to the citizens.
Due to the prestige of the legal profession and the character of the lawyer as an unpaid public official and co-operator of Justice, the quality and safety in the transfer of proceedings is ensured”.
