A pursuit of cinematic standards took place on Sunday night in the center of Chalkida.
According to exclusive information of eviathema.gr, it was shortly before 22:00 at night when DIAS police officers, who were on patrol, spotted a vehicle moving suspiciously and signaled for it to stop for a check as earlier there had been several break-ins in the area.
The driver of the vehicle did not obey the policemen’s signal and began to accelerate rapidly.
The police officers, after informing their center about the situation and asking for reinforcements, began to chase the vehicle, which began to make a mad course from Alonaki, going backwards to Arethousis and then to Anapausesos Street, during which it hit a curb, resulting in cause material damage.
The police found the vehicle parked a short time later with the passengers having fled in an unknown direction.
The owner of the vehicle has been identified and is being sought as part of the motor vehicle operation to arrest him.
