The list of names chosen by the meteorological services of Greece, Cyprus and Israel for each upcoming bad weather was made public by the director of the EMY, Thodoris Kolidas.
In his post, he makes public the names that were chosen and will be used in alphabetical order for the period October 2024-September 2025.
The names were jointly chosen between the three Meteorological Services, Greece, Cyprus and Israel, reflecting the linguistic idiom of their countries in Latin characters and are: Alexandros, Bora, Coral, Daphne, Ermis, Frida, Gerasimos, Hemera, Ido, Julia , Kiniras, Lea, Marinos, Nestor, Ofek, Pelagia, Qesem, Roni, Solon, Tria, Uri, Valeria, Yam, Zoe.
