Dacia has been offering models with a dual-fuel engine, gasoline and LPG, since 2010, and recently sales of LPG models reached the milestone of 1,000,000 vehicles (in all countries of operation combined). The dual-fuel system, which was renamed “ECO-G 100¨” in 2020, provides up to 170Nm of torque from 2,000rpm. and its versatility offers a multitude of advantages.

– The ECO-G 100 powertrain is more powerful than its gasoline counterpart (with 10 more horsepower and 10 more Nm of torque), consumes 10% less and emits 10% less CO2. Its carbon footprint is smaller and emits up to 90% fewer microparticles.

– For 14 years, Dacia has been testing and perfecting the technology of the ECO-G 100 powertrain. This system is factory installed on the specific models, incorporating all the know-how of the Renault Group. And it is as efficient and reliable as a petrol engine.

These models are designed and built to run on LPG and the tank is located where other cars have the spare, which means it doesn’t ‘steal’ space from the petrol tank, but also from the boot. LPG models have the same guarantees as any other vehicle in the brand’s range with thermal engines.

– The ECO-G 100 drive system is affordable to purchase and economical to use. LPG is one of the cheapest fuels on the market, costing over 40% less than unleaded 95% petrol, which ensures a profit of over €40 on each tank fill, depending on the model.

Dacia

A dual fuel vehicle, petrol and LPG, works equally well on both fuels. It has two separate tanks, each holding around 50 litres, depending on the model, and proves particularly simple to use: the driver can manually switch from one type of fuel to another and then return to their first choice, or the vehicle can automatically switch to gasoline when the gas tank is empty.
The ECO-G 100 drive system achieves a record range of up to 1,500 km, depending on the model.
