The price of gasoline is high – Close to 2 euros per liter

Market prices have skyrocketed, with petrol and oil now becoming luxury items.

The price of a liter of gasoline is approaching 2 euros, while the price of oil is 1.70 and they are expected to continue to rise.

In some gas stations in Attica, gasoline has reached 2.20 euros per liter.

The simple unleaded is very close to 2 euros, while the 100ara exceeds 2 euros.

Heating oil has risen to 1.40, while gas station owners are expressing fears about how much its price will rise.

Natural gas reached 322 euros per megawatt hour.

In Crete since Friday the price of gasoline has broken the barrier of 2 euros.

According to the official data of the Ministry of Development, in Crete all types of fuel have caught fire.

In more detail:

  • In the prefecture of Heraklion, unleaded is sold from the minimum price of 1,899 euros per liter, with an average price of 2,007 euros per liter and reaches up to 2,215 euros per liter!
  • In the prefecture of Rethymno, the minimum price in unleaded is 1,899, the average is 2,003 and the maximum reaches 2,132 euros per liter.
  • In the prefecture of Chania, the minimum price is 1,938, the average is 2 euros and the maximum is 2,108 euros per liter.
  • And in the prefecture of Lassithi, the corresponding prices are 1,897, 2,002 and 2,079 euros per liter.
