Explanations for the fatal injury of the 19-year-old in the amusement park of Halkidiki, last August, are requested to be given to the Kassandra Police Department by the persons involved, as part of the preliminary examination, which is being conducted to investigate criminal charges.

It is about the owner of the amusement park, the operator of the fatal game (crazy dance) and an engineer, who will be examined as suspects of committing criminal acts. The first two are scheduled to give their explanations today, Monday, but they are expected to ask for a few days’ time, according to sources close to them. For the engineer, the procedure was postponed to Wednesday, after a deadline he already received.

According to what became known, the specific persons will be invited to be placed on the findings of the expert, whose conclusion was submitted 10 days ago to the AT Kassandra and records a series of failures and omissions regarding the operation of the game. Among other things, in his findings report, the expert finds that the toy in question was self-made, with individual components and parts being stitched and assembled that did not provide any manufacturer’s warranty or safety standard.

Once the explanation process is completed, the case file will be forwarded to the Halkidiki First Instance Prosecutor’s Office, which will decide on their further criminal treatment.
