New incident with delinquent behavior of young children – Four minors were reported for assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Efkarpia, Thessaloniki
Four minors were arrested after a 13-year-old girl complained that they threatened her, beat her and took a small amount of money from her.
The new incident of violence involving minors happened, according to the complaint, last Thursday in Efkarpia, Thessaloniki, while the attack seems to be attributed, according to the first information, to sexual jealousy.
The 13-year-old went to Hippocrates Hospital of Thessaloniki for the provision of first aid and then reported the incident to the Directorate of Minors Protection of Thessaloniki of EL.AS.
As she described to the police, everything happened last Thursday, following a communication she had on a social network where she agreed to meet with some of the minors in order to discuss.
According to the complainant, four minors appeared at the appointment, two 13-year-olds and two 15-year-olds, who threatened her, using physical violence against her. When they left, they allegedly took a small amount of money from her.
The minors were arrested 24 hours later and a case file was filed against them, while they were released on the oral order of the prosecutor.
