Proceedings against them – as the case may be – for violation of the legislation on dealing with violence on the occasion of sports events and on flares, fireworks
Two people were arrested during the checks in the context of a football match on Sunday (13/10) at the “G. Karaiskakis”.
In particular, in the framework of a football match on Sunday (13/10) in the evening at the stadium “G. Karaiskakis”, intensive checks were carried out by the police officers assigned to the smooth conduct of the match and the prevention of sports violence, during which -2- citizens, aged 21 and 24, were arrested.
A case was filed against them by the Security Department of Kaminia-N. Faliro – as the case may be- for violating the legislation on dealing with violence on the occasion of sports events and on flares and fireworks.
Specifically, in a physical check carried out outside the doors, before the start of the match, the 24-year-old was caught in possession of a firecracker, while the 21-year-old was detected during the match through closed security circuits of the stadium using a laser device at the expense of other fans.
The arrested were taken to Mr. Criminal Prosecutor Piraeus.
