The 28-year-old accused of brutally beating his 21-year-old pregnant sister and her 45-year-old partner, following a fight that broke out between them, on Wednesday night, in Menemeni, Thessaloniki, was remanded in custody, after his apology to the 3rd regular investigator of Thessaloniki.
During his plea, the defendant admitted that he used violence, but denied the murderous intent attributed to him in the alleged prosecution, which is a felony. He stated, according to what became known, that he reacted in this way, “responding” to a previous blow he received from the 45-year-old, while he denied that he was holding a kitchen knife, as indicated in the case file.
Information indicates that he had recently been released from prison (with conditions), having served a multi-year prison sentence for attempted murder, an act which he committed in the area of ​​Panagia Faneromeni, in Thessaloniki.
