The apology of the 60-year-old before the Investigator Amaliada lasted more than four hours, where he was taken again yesterday under draconian security measures, after the two deadlines he had received.

Beyond that, the 60-year-old says that he does not remember anything else, neither for the murder of the children, nor for the corpses that were found placed on a trailer in the yard of the house. As for the causes, he claimed that it was not the due rents, but the behavior of the victims towards his mother.
According to defense attorney Spyros Andriopoulos, the 60-year-old obtained the consent of his victims to enter the house, where he went to resolve the issue. He claimed that he was again verbally assaulted and physically abused by the 32-year-old victim and thus led to a fight inside the house. The verbal confrontation turned into a fight and later into a murder.
“He was not going any further, the knot reached the scallop,” he told the investigator, according to information. He added: “I went to their house and we had a bad fight, we held hands. During the fight we were in their bedroom. There I shot them. These people turned off the water and electricity, and left my elderly mother in the dark without water. That day, she called me crying and told me that once again she had no electricity or water. I called them and tried to normalize the situation, but the 32-year-old verbally attacked me. Then I left the house to talk up close. The verbal confrontation turned into a clash of the three of us. “During the fight we were in the bedroom, where I threw them on the bed and shot them.”
Patras and the nine
Asked if there is an accomplice of the perpetrator but also why he was in Patras, Mr. Andriopoulos answered that there is no other person who cared for him, nor is anything like that mentioned in the case file.
“The accused was wandering, being confused, in Patras. “All he said was that he wanted to get rid of the weapon, he found refuge in an old boat at the Carnagio in Patras while he slept in his car, but not in an apartment,” he said characteristically. Regarding the boiler room of the apartment building in the Achaean capital where he had hidden the nine pistols with which he took the couple’s life, the perpetrator claimed that this item was not chosen at random. During his apology, he said that he had the keys of the specific apartment building in his possession through an old and accidental acquaintance he had with a person who was renting a house in the apartment building and no longer lives there.
This person had given the keys to the 60-year-old in case he needed to go there for any reason. He remembered that he still had the specific keys and that is why he hid the weapon of the crime there.
Regarding the 9mm Zastava pistol, according to Mr. Andriopoulos, it belonged to the father of DB who has passed away, and he left it to his son, who, as he said, had kept it as a souvenir.
The return to Andravida before the arrest
Mr. Andriopoulos also conveyed what the accused claimed before the Investigator regarding his return to his home in Andravida. “He said that he decided to return to Andravida because he was sorry for a dog he had and because he did not have anything to eat, he was afraid that something might happen. “And so he returned to his house where the police were waiting for him.”
Finally, it should be noted that the defense attorney of the 60-year-old submitted a request for a psychiatric expertise, which was not accepted at this stage, but he will repeat it, while the only relative who wanted to know about the defendant’s pre-trial detention was only his son.

What follows is a very provocative attitude, ignoring the pain he has caused to the relatives of the victims and especially to the 12-year-old boy who was orphaned by his mother and deprived of his siblings.
He had revealed his criminal plan as he illegally possessed a pistol with which he entered the family home, shot the unfortunate parents in the head and drowned the two babies of the family. He hypocritically pretends that he does not remember what he did to the babies while he remembered to transport the corpses, he remembered to have his trailer outside the house in the yard to load them and to avoid the legal consequences of his actions, he remembered to hide all of them days, to lead by changing prefecture, to ask not to have his money confiscated and to look for ways “to fall into the soft”.
He has fraudulent behavior and by allegedly invoking memory gaps he will not achieve anything. “Personally, as an advocate for the relatives of the victims, we will do everything necessary for his exemplary punishment and we will ask the authorities to investigate the presence of individuals or the person we assisted in removing the confidentiality of the accused’s conversations and all necessary legal actions.”
