According to information from onlarissa.gr, the man who is considered the main suspect in the murder of an 85-year-old man in a rural area of ​​Farsala has been in the hands of the Bulgarian authorities since last Friday.

The investigations for the unfortunate old man who lived alone in the village of Vasili in the Municipality of Farsala, began when his farm car was found abandoned in Thessaloniki, which aroused the suspicion of the authorities.
It is estimated that the Bulgarian, who was occasionally employed as a land worker in the victim’s fields, took the car to Thessaloniki and then fled to neighboring Bulgaria.
An international arrest warrant was issued by the Greek authorities, with the investigations of the Bulgarian police yielding results. The procedures for its extradition are now awaited in our country.
