The developments in the case with the 5 dead infants in Amaliada are very rapid.

According to exclusive information from – a key witness contacted the Homicide Unit, which has now taken over the investigations, and asked to go voluntarily and testify.

The request was accepted due to the importance of his testimony, although since yesterday the experienced officers have been conducting case files and have not summoned anyone to testify.

This testimony is expected to shed light on the mystery.

The experienced homicide police officers are called upon to shed light on the dark sides of the case that has shocked the whole of Greece and to decide whether the babies’ deaths are due to pathological causes or criminal action.

According to police sources, Irini Bourtzoukou – who is the common face in three infant deaths – will soon receive a summons to testify and in the coming days will cross the threshold of homicide.

Apart from Irini, however, all those involved in the case and who have made complaints on television shows will also receive a call.
