At least 25 thousand people participated in the march that culminated the three-day celebration of the fifty-first anniversary of the Polytechnic uprising, according to the estimates of the Police.
The march ended at the Israeli embassy, ​​having earlier passed the American embassy.
Shortly before 5 pm, the march with the blood-stained flag, held by students – members of PASP, had arrived at the American Embassy.
Earlier there was limited tension between students who are close to ANTARSYA and people who are close to Stefanos Kasselakis, regarding the order they would have in the march.

By early afternoon, the police had made 113 preventive arrests.

Incidents broke out after the march in the center of Thessaloniki.
People belonging to the anti-authoritarian space threw Molotov cocktails at the police forces in Kamara, who responded with chemicals and then pushed them towards the Rotunda and the surrounding streets.
Police made at least 20 arrests following the incidents.
About 10 precautionary landings were made before the march began.
