A 31-year-old man was arrested this afternoon following a related arrest warrant for the case of an explosion in a third floor apartment in the area of ​​Ampelokipi. The 31-year-old was accused of participating in the organization “Conspiracy of Cores of Fire”, but he was acquitted. He had, however, been convicted of two armed robberies in a country town in 2013 and was out on probation.

According to information from police sources, during the investigation into the case, the 31-year-old’s fingerprint was found in a bag with weapons, which was found in the apartment on Arkadias Street.

The 31-year-old was arrested while walking in the area of ​​Psychiko. The investigation did not reveal when and how he gave the weapon to one of the residents of the apartment.

It is recalled that the 31-year-old was arrested in February 2013 along with three other people for a double armed robbery at the Agricultural Bank and the Postal Savings Bank of a city in Northern Greece.
