On Monday morning, a 25-year-old accused was arrested in Patras for attempted murder and violation of the laws on weapons and addictive substances.
In particular, according to ELAS, at noon on November 12, the 25-year-old had an argument due to personal differences with two people inside a house in the settlement of Acharni. During the altercation, the 25-year-old first shot a 19-year-old in the leg, then followed a 25-year-old who tried to run away, shooting him in the chest and walking away.
After investigations and utilization of information, the perpetrator was identified, located and arrested. The operation was carried out by police officers of the Western Attica Crime Investigation and Prosecution Sub-Directorate with the assistance of OPKE and Immediate Action Police of the Achaia Police Directorate.
The sum of 10,730 euros as well as a small amount of raw cannabis was found and confiscated inside the perpetrator’s house.
The arrested person was taken to the competent Prosecutor.
