In the destruction by burning 211 bales narcotics the competent committee provided for by law proceeded yesterday, as announced by the ELAS Headquarters.
These are narcotic substances, which were seized by the Narcotics Prosecution Sub-Directorate of the Organized Crime Directorate as well as other security services.

In particular, they were destroyed:
– 396 kilograms and 448.7 grams of cocaine,
– 3 kilograms and 302 grams of heroin,
– 585 kg and 49.7 grams of raw cannabis,
– 32 kilograms and 294.5 grams of processed cannabis,
– 37 kilograms and 135.4 grams of methamphetamine,
– 2,330 hemp seedlings and
– 474.2 grams of MDMA
As noted by ELAS, the destruction was carried out in accordance with the prescribed procedure and in an appropriate place, while this action is part of the ongoing effort to combat drug trafficking with the aim of protecting public health and enhancing citizens’ sense of security .
