Arrested since the 14th for involvement with criminal organizations, former dancer Natacha Horana won a case last Thursday (21) that she filed against the city of Balneário Camburiú, on the coast of Santa Catarina, for moral damages. There is an appeal.
THE F5 had access to the case. Natacha claimed that she was at a party with friends in the city, during the Covid-19 pandemic, in October 2020. It was on this occasion that she was arrested for the first time.
However, police officers recorded his image still in his pajamas, inside the room, and released it to the press. Natacha understood that the incident was an abuse of police authority.
After being released, the former dancer appealed to the Santa Catarina Court and filed a request for moral damages against the city of Santa Catarina. She requested R$20,000 and a public retraction. In the first instance, the requests were met.
“The judge’s decision confirmed the occurrence of abuse committed by representatives of the Municipality of Balneário Camboriú, in particular those committed by Mr. Edvaldo Alves Rocha Junior, demonstrating the occurrence of the illicit act, the damage to the image and honor of Mrs. Natacha, thus justifying compensation for moral damages.”, said Natacha’s defense in the report.
THE F5 sought out Balneário Camboriú City Hall to comment on the matter. In a statement, the municipality’s management said it would not comment on the case.
Natacha Horara is arrested on suspicion of involvement with criminal organizations. She bought luxury items and paid for trips with irregular money, says part of the investigation that requested her request for preventive detention that took place on the 14th in São Paulo.
According to judicial monitoring, transactions and expenses were identified in a short period of time, incompatible with Natacha’s professional reality.
Natacha would have received deposits from accounts of people linked to criminal organizations. With this money, she would have paid for trips to Europe and luxury destinations in Brazil, such as Trancoso, on the coast of Bahia.
The purchase of luxury items, such as watches and necklaces, was also identified. Some of these items were searched and seized at Natacha’s house, in the south of São Paulo, during her arrest.
In a statement, Natacha Horana’s defense denies any illegal involvement of the former dancer and says that her arrest was “abusive and unjustified”.
“Natacha was unfairly involved in an investigation only because, years ago, she ended up knowing one of the people being investigated. The arrest was a mistake because she never committed any illicit act, direct, indirect or collaborative”, says the statement.
The defense of the former Faustão dancer claimed to have filed an appeal asking for her freedom. The request is before the STF (Supreme Federal Court), but Minister Edson Fachin, in whose office the request ended up, has not yet ruled on the case. Meanwhile, Natacha remains in detention.
