How did the mammoth heist happen?
It is recalled that the robbery took place at noon on Thursday, September 26 in Lavrio. The four perpetrators acted in a cinematic manner, right next to the entrance of a toy chain store and grabbed money in excess of one million euros.
The money transfer vehicle had taken a lot of money from various cooperating businesses in the wider area of Lavrio. This particular store was the last one. It appears that the perpetrators were aware of this information. One cashier was inside the store and had brought some bags of money, while the second, as he should have been, was inside the car.
At first the robbers, who showed up in a green car, threw paint on the vehicle, specifically a smoky color and then threw paint on the windshield. They wore hoods, medical masks and common clothing, light in color.
There is one more interesting element in the case. They left a box, which they claimed was an explosive device, threatening the employee that with the explosion they would be able to break the window of the vehicle.

The company, according to police sources, operated under another name in the past and had received several robberies during remittances.
