In areas of Thessaloniki as well as Halkidiki, crews continue restoration work as extensive damage is observed
All the technical staff of DEDDIE, including the cooperating contracting companies, have been on foot since the first hours when the bad weather Bora broke out in our country yesterday, at this time they have restored most of the damage to the Network in the affected areas nationwide.
However, in areas of Thessaloniki as well as Halkidiki, crews are continuing restoration work as extensive damage is observed in several parts of the Network, which however affect a small number of customers (services). In several cases, repairing damage is quite difficult as for safety reasons it is not possible for repair shops to approach the points.
It is reminded again that for their safe re-electrification, all customers should carefully check the correct and safe operation of their internal electrical installations. Especially for the buildings or houses that have been damaged by the floods, the reconnection should be carried out after issuing a Responsible Installer’s Declaration (YDE), which should be previously submitted to our Company.
