Very serious incident, according to which a student allegedly harassed a female classmate, and was attacked by the rest of the students, the police are investigating
Scenes of panic unfolded earlier today at midday on Wednesday, in a school in Larissa and in particular in the 7th EPAL, when students en masse started to fight against their classmate, on the occasion of information that was quickly transmitted throughout the school about sexual harassment of a student of the same school -outside the school complex- by the student who was attacked.
There was a lot of confusion with the situation getting out of control and the teachers intervening and fleeing the student in question to a room, while the police were also alerted.
According to information from onlarissa.gr, the student was allegedly sexually harassed by her classmate several days ago and shared the fact with some of her classmates, without filing a complaint with the police.
The information was leaked to the entire student population of the school, resulting in the mass attack on the student’s face
Police rushed to the scene around 1.30pm on Wednesday and took the student accused of this very serious incident away from the school.
Police authorities are conducting a thorough investigation.
