Earlier in the morning, the 33-year-old foreigner, who fatally injured the 36-year-old woman by running his car over her, in the area of ​​the Municipality of Hersonissos, was brought to the courts of Heraklion to apologize earlier in the morning.

The case has caused a shock in the society of Crete and not only, with the family of the unfortunate 36-year-old woman filing, as it became known, a complaint against everyone responsible. According to the family’s lawyer, Giorgos Kokosalis, what they are asking for is that the responsibilities be attributed to all those who are responsible.

“The family wants to get the knife to the bone, it will not remain only in the rendering of the criminal responsibilities of the specific French defendant, but they ask that even the doctors be checked” said in his statements Mr. Kokosalis, referring to what happened at the Psychiatric Clinic of the Rethymnon Hospital, where the defendant was hospitalized a few days ago, for 24 hours, and above all how it was decided that he could be discharged.

In the courts of Heraklion, the brother of the unfortunate woman was also found, who, without still being able to believe the tragedy that his family is living through, repeated that they will go to the end, in order to assign responsibility to those involved in the case, adding that in the position of his sister, it could be anyone.
