The 14-year-old accused of stabbing the 64-year-old father of his girlfriend, on Christmas day, at his home in Panorama, Thessaloniki, was released with restrictive conditions.

With the agreement of the investigator and the prosecutor, he was imposed the terms of following a program by a psychologist in a public hospital and not to approach the patient or his home.

He had been charged with a felony for grievous bodily harm and illegal carrying of a weapon – use of a weapon.

According to information, during his apology to the 5th regular investigator, he claimed that the attack on the 64-year-old father of his girlfriend was not unprovoked and that he was first provoked by the victim and he reacted. In fact, he reportedly claimed that he attacked the victim to protect his girlfriend.

According to the case file, the bloody incident took place at noon last Wednesday (12/25) at the victim’s house in Panorama. The victim and his 16-year-old daughter, who seems to be in a relationship with the perpetrator, had an argument. Then, the 14-year-old wanted to defend his girlfriend and allegedly took a knife and wounded the 64-year-old twice in the groin.

The patient was immediately transferred to the Agios Loukas hospital, from where one day later he asked to be discharged, despite the doctors’ recommendations to stay for further medical treatment.
