The details of the fatal traffic accident are shocking. The two young men were recovered dead from the scene, while the third passenger of the vehicle was extricated seriously injured by 7 firefighters who tried with two vehicles.
According to competent sources, one of the EKAV ambulance drivers is the father of the deceased, who was notified of the incident and bent over when he realized it was his child.
He was immediately transferred to the General Hospital of Florina, where he underwent a lengthy surgery and was then transferred to the Intensive Care Unit in Thessaloniki.
