Today (31/12) the funeral of the owner of the hotel that was engulfed in flames yesterday Monday – What the forensic report shows and what his sister says
Today (12/31) at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, relatives and friends say goodbye to the 55-year-old owner of the hotel in Kalambakawhere a fire broke out on Monday morning.
Speaking to and in “Live You“, the closest relative of the man who was lost so unjustly, his sister, reports that she was inside the hotel at the time the fire broke out and describes in a trembling voice what happened.
“I entered the hotel at 7:20 in the morning, I had gone out for a walk and as soon as I entered I smell smoke, I look from here, I look from there, I see the air-conditioner throwing sparks. I look and what to see? I shout, I immediately call my brother, he was sleeping on the 2nd floor, I tell him “Niko fire, I’m calling the fire brigade” and he panicked there”, he pointed out characteristically.
“Unfortunately my brother in his attempt to help some people there I don’t know… He couldn’t stand the fumes. Very quickly the smoke went up, I can’t give any logical explanation. The table, the curtains, everything caught fire from the sparks. Only the smoke went up, the fire didn’t. My brother was the best child, giving, kind-hearted, kind-hearted.”
