As every year, this year too, Syntagma Square became the focus of the celebration New Year’s Evegaining impressions. A crowd of people gathered early to enjoy the musical theater spectacle prepared by Phoebus Delivorias entitled “The Roof of Time”.

The beloved artist, together with Natassa Bofiliou, Martha Frintzilas and Thanasis Alevras, presented an original show that, through songs, dances and humorous moments, took us on a journey through the history of Athens, from 1945 to 2025. The great event for the On New Year’s Eve, the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality opened musically Athens, creating the ideal introduction to the festive evening.

Also, Natassa Bofiliou sang “Nothing is lost” by Manos Loizos and Manolis Rasoulis wearing the Palestinian headscarf (kefiya) and was adored by Twitter users.

The celebration of the municipality of Athens was also broadcast in sign language, with Sophia Robolis to “steal”, really, the impressions. For over 2 hours the beloved interpreter, who also works for Alpha, gave her own “performance” in Syntagma Square.
