Itinerary for coxinha fans has an all-you-can-eat version, a one kilo version and stuffed with strawberry or ham

The capital of São Paulo is the land where the classic and the inventive coexist. The coxinha recipes confirm this: in addition to the traditional version, the city is home to addresses that serve delicacies filled with oxtail, ham, feijoada and even chocolate, strawberry and, who would have thought, Ovaltine.

Bagaceira

The bar has recipes inspired by Brazilian bars on the menu. Among them is the portion with two units of cassava and chicken drumsticks (R$ 10).

The franchise, which has existed since 2015, offers more than 40 sweet and savory coxinha options. Creativity is seen in orders such as coxibe (kibbeh dough with chicken filling), chocoxinha and strawberryxinha. But there are also versions with ribs, ham and broccoli. They are served in glasses (from R$7.90).

Pastrami, the restaurant’s specialty, also found its way into the coxinha filling, shredded and with cream cheese, Sriracha mayonnaise and Grana Padano cheese (R$48, portion of four).
