Taste Atlas published the list of the worst foods, based on the evaluations made, and in the first 100 there are also two Greek dishes.

The first is the artichoke salad which is in 23rd place but the burboureliawhich are in 65th place.

As Taste Atlas says about artichoke salads: “It is a traditional Greek salad from Crete. Although there are variations, the salad is usually made with a combination of young and tender artichokes, lemon, lemon juice, olive oil, mustard, garlic, dill, salt and pepper. Artichokes are cut and boiled in water and lemon juice. Artichokes are quartered and then cut in half. They put a dressing consisting of lemon juice, olive oil, mustard and garlic on top of the artichokes and the salad is sprinkled with chopped dill, seasoned with salt and pepper, and served immediately.”

For bourbourelia, a traditional recipe from Kefalonia mentions: “This rustic Greek dish is made with a variety of mixed beans which become one hearty soup. The dish consists of a combination of lentils, beans, chickpeas or fava beans and the soup is usually seasoned with olive oil and lemon juice. The dish is traditionally associated with Kefalonia”.
