The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 23,748, of which 23 were identified after checks at the country’s gates. The total number of cases amounts to 2,708,610 (daily change + 0.9%), of which 49.3% are men. 1 Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 211 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 1,564 are related to an already known case. The ???????? for the territory based on the cases is estimated at 1.04 (95% DE: 0.96 – 1.12).
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 44, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 26,730 deaths have been recorded. 95.2% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.
The number of patients treated by intubation is 354 (65.3% men). Their median age is 69 years. 90.7% have underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 227 (64.12%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 127 (35.88%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,373 patients have been discharged from the ICU. The admission of new Covid-19 patients to the hospitals of the territory is 345 (daily change + 16.55%). Self-tests: As of March 15, 2022, 95,553,079 self-diagnostic results have been recorded electronically. Of the 5,803,084 people who came for re-examination, 685,881 positive results have been recorded.
Bulk Sampling EODY: On March 15, 2022, 162 sampling actions were carried out by the Mobile Health Teams (KOMY) of EODY, in which 31,755 Rapid Ag tests were performed and 4,128 positive (13%) were found.
