A fight with injuries between young people and minors occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. in Metamorfosi, on Pefkon street.
According to police sources, a 19-year-old man of Albanian origin was injured in the abdomen with a screwdriver from the fight and is hospitalized out of danger. Also, two more people, 19 and 17 years old, of Albanian origin, were slightly injured.
The police have made 9 arrests and are investigating the incident, while according to the first information, groups from different areas seem to have participated in the incident.
As it appears from the preliminary investigation, at the point of the fight over 20 people meta team from Nea Filadelfia and one from Metamorfosi and Kifissia and it became a real battle.
The differences do not appear to be fan-motivated, but rather related to a dispute between regions.
The screwdriver with which the 19-year-old was injured was also found at the scene of the fight and sent for examination to the forensic laboratories.
