Thousands of people are participating in the protest that is taking place at this time in Kamara squarein the center of Thessaloniki, for the train accident in Tempi that resulted in the death of 57 people.

According to thestival.gr, the gathering takes place on the occasion of the call from the Association of Relatives of Tempo Victims for a protest outside Parliament, demanding justice and punishment for those responsible for the tragedy. Organizations, students, unions and ordinary citizens participate in the gathering.

“I have no oxygen”! “My soul and the soul of my son have rejoiced with all the people participating in the gathering. I believe we will beat them. We have a state in front of us, which has covered up this crime, but we will beat them”, says Pavlos Aslanidis, who lost his son in the accident in Tempi.

“We demand, according to my daughter’s voice that has been heard, the justice of all children so that the children who are alive can live a just life,” said her mother Francesca Bezawho died in a train accident.

In their appeal, the relatives of the victims request that all the causes of the explosion be investigated, while they also turn against the previous Speaker of the Parliament and the next President of the Republic, Konstantinos Tasoulas, whom they dismiss for burying the case files.

On the occasion of the protest of relatives of the victims outside the Parliament, there were calls for protests in every corner of Greece but also in many cities abroad by Greeks of the Homogenia.

In Thessaloniki, in addition to the Kamara demonstration, there are corresponding calls for Kalamaria and Chalkidona.
