The mayor complained that citizens were levied the electrical panel in the City Council hall, referring to the detention of elected officials.
After the tragic images in the Corinthian Isthmus with the garbage dump that has been around for 2.5 years, a statement came from the Lavrio to create a rubbish factory to Keratea.
After these plans were disclosed, residents of the area flooded the room of the Machine Shop, protesting the municipal authority for the creation of the factory. It all started at 6pm in a very intense climate, with the concentrated demanding that the waste issue be discussed strongly.
However, about an hour later, the residents realized that they were not heard and they were starting very intense protests, resulting in Mayor Loukas and his municipal councilors to leave, shouting “liar” and even throwing a chair.
The story was not over here, as the residents did not leave, but gathered outside the town hall for several hours, continuing their protest. After the end of this episodic council, the mayor complained that protesting citizens had shook the electrical panel in the Municipal Council room, so as not to continue the meeting, referring to the detention of elected officials.
