  • 1st. No increase in ferry ticket prices were made.
  • 2nd. Nine (9) routes from 2/2/2025 to 4/2/2025 have been operated for the ferry service to Piraeus, carrying 7,376 passengers and 1,307 vehicles. It thus proves that the ferry has catalyzed the pressure for immediate departure of residents and visitors from the island.
  • 3rd. With the approval of the Ministry of Maritime and the Island Policy and the assistance of the ferry companies and their crews, two (2) emergencies were executed on 4/2/2025, which also served 2,264 passengers and 399 vehicles.
  • 4th. From the first moment of the launch of the seismic phenomenon in the marine area of ​​Santorini, YNANP and the Headquarters of the Coast Guard – Greek Coast Guard participated in all operational meetings, under the coordination of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.
  • 5th. Coast Guard – Hellenic Coast Guard (floating means and staff) operational units, were transported on the basis of the design and maintain their forces in the islands facing the seismic phenomenon. Specifically, in addition to the Coast Guard vessels that operate daily in the four islands (Ios, Amorgos, Thira and Anafi), four more (4) boats of the CC – ELAKT. Also, based on the local emergency plan, there are twenty -one (21) boats (trailer, passenger, large fishing, etc.). At the same time, one (1) helicopter of the LS – ELAKT remains on a 24 -hour readiness at its base.
  • 6th. The Ministry of Maritime and Island Policy has taken police measures in the port facilities excluded by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection because of landslides. At the same time, it modified the Local Line Line Thirasia – Oia Thira, due to avoiding access to the local ship to Ammoudi and Korfos.
  • 7th. At the same time, the Ministry of Maritime and Island Policy has planned, approved and immediately satisfying all the desire of the competent government authorities for the maritime transfer of inspectors, scientists, materials, generators and other equipment in the islands facing the problem.
  • 8th. Today, 5/2/2025, bad weather is prevalent in the area and a ban has been imposed. As a result, today the Blue Star 1 and Dionysius Solomos routes were not executed. The Blue Star Chios route from Piraeus at 17:00 will be executed according to the prevailing weather conditions. If the weather improves earlier, the possibility of an emergency ship from Crete to Piraeus will be considered.
