Earlier this week, we introduced the new EX30 Cross Country, from a remote winter refuge in northern Sweden, wanting to highlight the essence of a real Cross Country experience.

As of today, the same refuge is available for booking through Landfolk, a specialized platform that connects travelers with unique, selected holiday accommodation. Ideal for anyone looking for a special winter adventure in Swedish Lapland. And, as a highlight, a Volvo car will be ready to take you to the Arctic Adventure of your choice.

With “Cross Country”, Volvo Cars aims to offer not only cars, but complete experiences. This opportunity to rent a shelter, along with a wide range of equipment, accessories and information, aims to explore the countryside as easy as possible.

The ex30 Cross Country was designed for people who want to live great experiences with their small electric SUV. The secluded winter Cross Country shelter, one hour north of the city of Louleo, is ideal as the basis for the ultimate outdoor experience at the core of Cross Country.

“With Cross Country products, we aim to offer an experience and not just a car,” says Erik Severinson (Eric Severinson), a product and strategy head at Volvo Cars. “This secluded winter refuge in northern Sweden, surrounded by beautiful forests, rich local fauna and a frozen lake, gives a taste of what this experience may look like, in the form of an authentic Scandinavian outdoor adventure.”

Picture wake up overlooking a frozen lake and firing with fluffy snow. If you are lucky, the sun pops up and creates a fantasy of glittering crystals dancing to light. As you suck the first sips of your morning coffee, for a moment people look quieter and all you hear is the woods that tear in the lit fireplace. Soon, you will be ready for the next great adventure of the day.

Whether you want a rejuvenating route with dogs driving from dogs on glossy snow or choosing a greater degree of difficulty by cross-country, the surrounding area offers many opportunities. To make it easier, you will be given suggestions for a number of outdoor activities.

Overnight of three people, the shelter is a warm and hospitable place, with large windows offering vague views of the winter country of miracles. It also has smart storage venues for your boots, skiing, and a Scandinavian style kitchen for anything you need after an adventurous day.

The separate shelter is already available for rent for only a limited time, from February 21 to March 21, 2025, via Landfolk, which is famous for its carefully selected accommodation in Scandinavia and southern Europe. Each reservation ensures up to two nights in this serene getaway.

To get to the shelter, you will drive one hour from Louleo Airport. A new Volvo ex30 will be waiting for you at the Airport Car Lease Service.

Customers can configure their car here.

Notes

The use of the car is not included in the price of the lease package.
