Taxis are pulling a handbrake from 6am on Wednesday to 6am on Thursday morning – what are SATA requests
Attica will remain without a taxi tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19, due to the 24 -hour strike announced by the SATA Board of Directors.
Specifically, the taxis are pulling a handbrake from 6am on Wednesday to 6am on Thursday morning.
SATA’s requests are as follows:
- Free entry of EDF Taxi in special traffic lanes (buses).
- Solution to solve the problem of projecting project by companies with driver cars.
- To stop the illegal discounts – offers of Uber and Bolt deliberately illegally (do not adhere to the legal fare set by the state) and intensify unfair competition.
- Implement the amendment prohibiting the collection of the fee by each mediating company (Law 4607/2019 Article 75).
- Proper application of the digital platform for EIH conventions and creation of a guide rented registry. Increase in the minimum contract price of EIX by 33%.
- Clear and without gray zones separation of the services provided by the taxi and the driver’s car rental. Urban transport only do taxis. By taxi the passenger makes a civil transport. With EIX he buys time to move. Transfer from one point A to one point B is a project that belongs to the taxi.
- Abolition of the provisions of the new tax law and immediate application of a tax -free threshold of EUR 12000.
- Removing the mandatory classification of new taxi cars only zero pollutants from 2026. Our proposal is to post this obligation for 2035.
- Free Classification of Multipurpose EDC Taxi & used 5 years.
- Remove the Fix Airport Price.
Finally, the SATA Bureau “seeks the practical support of the Pan -Hellenic Federation in this fair fight. We urge the POPIATA and all taxi clubs in the country to participate with any action in the strike of February 19. ”
