A case file against eight people was formed by police officers from the Agrinio Criminal Criminal Directorate for attempted homicide and infringement of the Agrinio Panetolio Act.

The full details of the defendants have been identified, and one of them was arrested yesterday morning in Agrinio.

Police announcement:

Officers from the Agrinio Criminal Prosecution and Criminal Officers, a case file was filed for the offenses of the attempted homicide with fraud, the deterioration of foreign ownership, illegal weapons and arson, at the expense of eight residents.

In particular:

  • On 05-03-2025, in Panetolio Agrinio, three of the defendants, approached by a vehicle, a domestic man and caused him bodily harm to their ends,
  • On 06-03-2025, in the same area one of the defendants identified the sufferer and a woman moving on foot and caused the last bodily harm with a wood,
  • On the same day, shortly thereafter, -7- of the defendants, they gathered outside the home of the sufferers, where one fired repeatedly, with a shotgun, causing damage to the house, while the other defendant threatened them with a pistol. The other defendants caused damage to three parked cars, with wooden poles and a hell.
  • On 07-03-2025 one of the defendants were identified and arrested, while investigations that followed in their homes were found and seized two shotguns, -31-cartridges, -7-complete cartridges and two empty metal magazines. For the two shotguns, a license for possession was issued by the 8th defendant.

The case file against the defendants was submitted to the Public Prosecutor of Aitoloakarnania.
