- Before Easter, special aid is granted to our most vulnerable fellow citizens.
- Fuel consumption is subsidized for individuals and the price of diesel is reduced to a perimeter of up to 30,000 euros family income.
- The repayment period of all repayable advances is increased from 60 to 96 interest-free installments.
- ENFIA is further reduced.
- The Special Consumption Tax for agricultural oil is refunded and the VAT rate is reduced. from 13% to 6% for fertilizers.
In any case, the measures decided and implemented by the Government, correspond to two basic principles: First, they are targeted, with emphasis on supporting our most vulnerable fellow citizens, as required by the principle of social justice, which we fully respect and support. And secondly, they are moving within the limits imposed by the need for fiscal stability, as the national interest and the benefit of society demand that we not dismantle public finances.
We exhaust every opportunity to support households and businesses with realistic and costed proposals. With proposals applicable far from simplistic approaches that sound pleasant to the ears, but are based on either ignorance or irresponsibility.
