The use of RF payment codes was put into productive operation on the e-Payment platform of the General Secretariat of Information Systems of Public Administration (GGPSDD) of the Ministry of Digital Government, enabling citizens to make their payments easily and directly through the web / mobile banking of the bank. by either entering the RF code or scanning the QR code.
In this way, the e-Payment payment process is significantly accelerated and facilitated and time is saved for business citizens and businesses, by upgrading the quality of the services provided.
The benefits of making RF payment codes available and available on the e-Paravolo platform are manifold:

The implementation and distribution of the service was done by the General Secretariat of Information Systems of Public Administration (GGPSDD) of the Ministry of Digital Government in collaboration with DIAS SA. and domestic credit institutions, with the care of the Minister of Digital Government Kyriakos Pierrakakis and with the cooperation of the General Secretary of Information Systems of Public Administration Demosthenes Anagnostopoulos and the CEO of DIAS SA. The payment process with RF code is easy and very simple. The citizen selects the payment with RF code and enters or copies the RF code in the corresponding field (“general transaction / QR”). After being informed by the bank application about the name of the beneficiary organization, it selects the debit account, enters the amount and completes the payment by accepting the transaction.
For payments via mobile banking, it is also possible to pay by scanning a QR code. In this case, the citizen selects the QR reading, scans the QR provided to him by the e-Payment, selects the billing account and completes the payment with his approval. You do not need to enter the amount, as it is automatically entered by the system.
To date, 65 public services have joined the e-Paravolo service, while since 2017, more than 26 million electronic fees have been issued, relieving citizens and businesses from an equal number of trips. Specifically, every month on average more than 410,000 electronic payments are issued with total payments over 27,000,000 euros.
It is pointed out that in total from 2017 until today, about 1,575,000,000 euros have been collected by the Greek State through e-Payments.
