When the police drove them out of the store for checking, they tried to escape while one took a pistol – the arrested
Two people were arrested by the Department of Prosecutors, the Organized Crime Management Directorate, on Wednesday morning, in an area of Attica, against which a case was filed for- as a case-by-case- by violence against employees and infringement of weapons legislation.
In particular, according to ELAS, police officers of the above service have identified the defendants in the early morning hours in a healthcare store and led them out of the store to carry out a check. At exit, the above tried to escape while one of them armed and pretended at the expense of police officers pistolwhere brought in a bag.
Police officers, taking self -protection measures, managed to disarm and to bind both accuseddespite the strong resistance they have made. Indeed, in an attempt to stop the other defendant, a police officer was injured, who then went to a hospital to provide first aid.
The pistol seized and will be sent to the Criminal Investigations Division for examination, and in addition 2 cell phones and shoulder bag were seized.
Those arrested, who have previously been concerned with the authorities, among other things, for- as appropriate- attempt homicide, foreign property wear, as well as violations of laws for the arms and drugsled to the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office.
