A 11-year-old girl is being hospitalized in the PAGNI Intensive Care Unit at the PAGNI Intensive Care Unit after a car accident on the Heraklion-Mesaras road last night.
The child has a stroke on the brain and lung, as well as craniocerebral injuries.
The accident happened when the car in which the mother, grandmother and two children aged 9 and 11 collided with another vehicle and shortly after falling into the trunk of a tree, injuring all four passengers.
Immediately they rushed to the ambulance of EKAB and transported to the Venizelio Hospital in Heraklion, the 31 -year -old mother, 50 -year -old grandmother and two minor children.
Her 11 -year -old and 9 -year -old brother was considered necessary to be taken to PAGNI, with the minor baby facing lighter injuries.
The mother, who has a fracture in her hand, and the grandmother of the children, after receiving first aid, did not have to be hospitalized.
The causes of the accident are investigated.
